Home > Population Projections
Population projections rely on a number of assumptions about the continuation of past trends into the future. The overall accuracy of projections will depend on the extent to which future events unfold in a manner that mirrors these past observations. The collapse of the housing market and the lingering effects of the worst economic crisis since the 1930’s are likely to keep population growth at very low levels for the next few years. The data available now does not allow for the measurement of the economic trends on population growth since 2008. As soon as data becomes available we will produce population projections.
