South Carolina Community Profiles is a publication of the South Carolina Budget and Control Board's Office of Research and Statistics. The site provides U.S. Census Bureau demographic, social, economic, and housing statistics for South Carolina. The Office of Research and Statistics is the State Data Center lead agency for South Carolina and acts as the coordinating unit for Census information in the state.
